Immediately Withdraw from Afghanistan

It is a shame that we have to go through this. However, Presidents, even progressive ones must be lead by the people. We were promised an end to the war in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Everyday that we wait costs more lives and more money. Just the other day two more soldiers lost there lives in Iraq. It costs 33 billion dollars more to continue the war in Afghanistan. We have 100,000 teachers out of work. One of the economic information sources stated that there were fewer jobs created in the U.S. economy. We need tangible investments that will bring more money and lasting benefits to the society. We cannot afford a war. We need schools, housing and jobs. If one wants to argue that Karzai and the current Afghan regime are more democratic, I believe your argument would be weak. Though many of the pharmaceutical companies need opium and the oil producers need oil, I believe both can be had in Afghanistan and Iraq by offering a reasonable price. We need our lives. We need our tax dollars. We need no war. We need a better world.
